Lacewood can cater for large or small corporate events and private celebrations and functions, including events such as conferences, training days, leadership team retreats, birthdays, gala dinners and balls. The following options are available, but are not exclusive and we are happy to discuss alternative arrangements and costs.
The barn:
Accommodation if required: Lacewood at Tuhitarata can accommodate up to 32 people. Transport to and from quality accommodation near our venue also Martinborough (12 minutes) or Featherston (20 minutes) can be arranged.
Full use of Tuhitarata homestead and other facilities on the estate. Includes full use of the Tuhitarata homestead built in the 1860s. This historic and grand home features a large formal dining room that can be used as the main meeting/training room during the day, large formal living room, conservatory, large country kitchen, scullery, media room, six bedrooms, four bathrooms and one separate toilet and a facilities room. Also includes a large patio off the formal lounge and a swimming pool.
The magnificent rooms are furnished elegantly exuding an intriguing atmosphere, reflecting their hidden history and the owners’ interesting backgrounds.
All rooms provide stunning views of the old English trees, the magnificent formal Italianate garden, the orchard and the rural countryside and mountain ranges beyond.
